How to use METRO's Bike-Rack-For-Buses

Portland biker Jome Murphy demonstrates the rack's operation.

Prepare bike for loading by removing water bottles, pumps and other loose items.
With one hand, squeeze rack handle up to release latch, and lower rack.

Lift bike onto rack, placing front wheel in designated slot.

Pull the support arm out and over front wheel to top of tire.

Your bicycle is ready to transport.

Two bikes at a time can be transported, front wheels facing opposite.
The rack fits bicycles of all common sizes.
