D.W. Morrison was born in Maine and lives in New Sweden. He spent over twenty-five years working as a chef in various cities along the East coast while periodically attending institutes of higher learning. His work was featured in May, 1997 at the Portland Museum of Art's "A Matter of Perception" show.
